The combination of an undergraduate degree from Illinois Institute of Technology and a commission in the U.S. Navy or Marine Corps gives you the opportunity to begin your professional career with service to your country. You will quickly learn how to challenge yourself and develop the fundamentals of teamwork. You will complete your obligated military service with the confidence and understanding of how to achieve extraordinary levels of team performance through the principles of leadership, the initiative of the subordinate, responsibility and accountability.

IIT's NROTC members are working to make a difference on campus and in the community. Leadership skills gained through military training allow midshipmen to make key contributions to local organizations and events. Whether it be leading the track team to victory or mentoring local high schools students, the battalion is making a positive impact outside the ranks.

Graduates from Illinois Institute of Technology's NROTC program continue to make contributions to the nation after their active duty. Their military service helps them acquire top jobs that require unquestionable integrity and reliability.

Activities
Drill Team
"Delta Company" is a group of motivated, disciplined midshipmen who form the IIT NROTC Drill Team. They practice drill at 0600 two mornings a week in preperation for semesterly drill competitions.
